Furthermore they fail to see the consequence of a US defeat after two more years of US occupancy of Iraq.

Yeah think if Iraq is bad now, then in two years it has the potential to be twice as bad. More dead...more money borrowed to the pockets of Haliburton and like company.

Makes pretty good sense for Haliburton Stockholders, except there's blood on the money. Evil people don't mind a little blood on the money...so long as it's mostly green.

Really don't think we need to redo Vietnam with this one. Lied into a war...so that people profit at the expense of the American taxpayer.

There's a good chance that people have begun to wake up. At least the polls seems to indicate. Perhaps we can trade in these republicreeps for some democraps. That might wind down the war a bit faster. But remember crooks can sometimes be democraps or republicreeps...your chances of a cleaner candidate are better with Democraps though.

So perhaps we get a democrap congress, Bush gets exposed, we pull the troops out, strategically ala Murtha, we get the Iraqis on schedule to manage their own affairs, and let them get on with their own lives. Meanwhile we can concentrate on our lives over here. Get the Gulf rebuilt and get on the road to energy independence. Nothing will influence events in the Middle east more than seeking alternative energy and reducing dependence on oil.

Bush should be either censured or impeached. But if impeached it needs to be a package deal...both Bush and Cheney out the door.
