The stuff on Jill Carrol was vile. I wasnt comparing it with the NYT reporters gaffe. I am sickened by the phony heroism of drug addicts like rush and draft dodgers like cheney (not bush--who did serve). Having been a draft dodger and a bit of a druggie myself back in the day, i am particularly sensitive to folks who did what i did but who adopt holier than thou positions on the same.

It isn't just that. Stories that are spiked by teevee producers get aired on talk radio.
