Does this also apply to pork and beans with brown sugar, which seem to occupy the most shelf space at the supermarket?

My goodness..dad eats homemade beans, that he cooks himself[no sugar added]at least 3X week, esp. as he's gotten older(87 in August)..for anyone that listens he'll give a lecture on their benefits..and show you that he hasn't adjusted his belt in over 40 years..he's a riot..so many 'backwards' potions of his get validated by the sciences..grape juice antioxidant actions, the recent one..

Some nutritionists have been steering folk away from beans because of the high carbo content during the recent diet fads..one I consulted in early 2000's is one of them..will write to get my $$ back..
