Nah, I bought those motor scooters, myself. They are much better conversation pieces than lawn jockeys. <G>

We lost Gene Pitney last night. Pitney was never one of my favorite singers, but I loved his songwriting for other singers. I was only 12 or 13, but some of the songs hold up today. "Hello Mary Lou" is a silly song, but I feel happy every time I hear it. And it was great for bopping. "Rubber Ball" was one of the first 45s I ever bought. For those youngsters among us, a 45 is not a gun, in this case. <G>

"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" was a better song than a movie.
