Saudi body pinpoints 'ideal' jobs for women

Riyadh: A Saudi government agency working for Saudisation has intensified its drive to get more Saudi women to work in the private sector.

It cites jobs such as executive secretaries, cashiers and receptionists as being 'ideal.'

Dr Abdul Wahab told reporters his department had prepared a list containing 13 jobs that would be restricted to women.

"The jobs include executive secretary, cashier, sales representative, receptionist, waitress on the occasion of parties for women, web designer, retail sales, jewellery sales at shopping centres for women, warehouse keeping and e-commerce," he said.
