A most eloquent and entertaining piece. You got one bit wrong though.. "We don’t want any thinking men." All of my posts on this subject (climate change) have been written to stimulate clear independent thought. Unspinning the spin and separating the facts from the fiction. Can be such an argument be delivered by a child to it's mother whether to clean his/her room or not. Should the room be tidy or should it be trashed to allow "freedom of expression? In the same way is it OK for children to breathe in poisonous fumes from the local power generating station or should action be taken to control such a poison? That is more to the point. I am arguing the case that climate change is being driven by human activity, and we need to keep a reign on it. Just because humans do one or other things right or wrong has no bearing on my argument. Sorry you will have to re-write the whole thing -g- p.s. So "long and short" is an architect?
