Take it to the next level - who offshore will really want your GOLD too? They want your medicine to stay alive - cholesterol and aids and bird flu medicine and TB medicine - the want your genetic research - they want your missle designs - they may want your food or hollywood movies and computer software too. Once they can do all that themselves - they dont need YOU, they dont need your PAPER, they dont need your GOLD, they dont need ANYTHING from you at that point - you just get in the way competeing for RESOURCES they DO NEED. Once you teach a man to fish, he doesn't need to come to your grocery market and buy some from you anymore eh?
