I wasn't expecting agreement from anyone on the thread. Lack of it doesn't change my view that the media has been self muzzled when addressing accuracy, reality, truth and PC reporting of news. That said, I believe that there is an important reason for the use of PC besides not offending someone with a real or perceived sensitivity. And that is to spin or propagandize the subject or components of the subject. DB, propaganda does affect the situation on the ground in Iraq. It has affected each war we have fought. Agenda driven? My agenda is the media and their unwillingness to call a spade a spade. It goes well beyond freedom fighter and insurgent.
