That map just shows that Kurds spread in the region where Iran, Iraq and Turket intersect. Why should Turkey and Iran be so upset if a new country called Kurdistan is formed? Czech and Slovak Republics splits pretty easily into two.

Turkey has major hydroelectric plants and natural resources in the region.......there's no way they will allow the secession of the Kurds to Kurdistan.......nor should they have to.
