Clarke told us all on TV that Bush wanted Saddam and no one else blamed for 9'11, even though Saddam had nothing at all to do with it. If you don´t believe Clarke on this you are a major sucker believing in pre'war neocon spin, almost all of which turned out to be total baloney.

There is plenty of other newer evidence too that the Bushies were secretly planning to invade Iraq long before 9'11. They just exploited 9'11 to manufacture a phony excuse, then they fixed the intelligence, lied many times, made all kinds of false promises and predictions, demonized any smart American who saw through them and took us into the costliest least productive disaster of a war since Vietnam.

Meanwhile since >Bush largely pulled out of Afghanistan the Taliban are back, controlling a large part of the south with the cooperation of heroin dealers and the Pakistanis. Obviously, Bush´s obsession with Saddam has made the entire region less safe and the US military much weaker and less respected. Now we have few military options left for any of these problems. Bush and Cheney should be removed ASAP. They have us weaker and poorer as a nation.
