Well what symbol do you use on Globex?

I know the Silver & Gold Contract symbols out of NY but they only trade during pit hours.

Chicago has symbols for the large but I cannot seem to locate them on my software.

I thought the SP pit traded contracts only moved during normal trading hours.

So two questions. If I'm right about the normal symbol then what symbol is the 24 hour symbol.

Or, if I'm wrong then why trade something that has such a long delay in reporting.....why not just use several mini symbols to replace the pit symbol?

I gave up on pit traded contracts a month or two ago. The response time is much better on Access. You have to trade more contracts, of course.

Is the pit symbol different from the Access symbol?
