Geode, yes, I've read [some of] your rants [and others] why a lot of governments would like to have nuclear weapons. You are, of course wrong here: <any government would wish to have nuclear weapons given the current situation in the world? >

New Zealand's government and most people in NZ, specifically do NOT want to have nuclear weapons. Not only that, they won't have them in the country, even visiting on board friendly [using "friendly" in a broad-minded way as the USA is not necessarily "friendly" to NZ and there is quite some evidence that it's the opposite]. There are actual laws in NZ against nuclear weapons and also nuclear power is not allowed.

But of course you are right that the rabid Iranian Islamic Jihadists want to snuggle up to the bomb.

It's not surprising, given the track record of Islamic Jihad in attacking the USA [and a lot more besides] that a LOT of people would rather have a war than have Iran be armed with noocular bombs.
