Huh! I was agreeing with you, I think. My memory is so fuzzy about the old days, but didn't Jim Wright resign and "fall on his sword" for the good of the Party? Didn't a bunch of the old demo hotshots resign or step down for the "good of the party" when the House check scandel broke? The problem is that the demos have been out of power so long that no one cares if they resign...they don't have any power to resign from. Ms. McKinney is digging herself a hole a bit too deep and lonely. Look her her abject apology any day now.
