But Nixon was a policy wonk and believed in the greater good of the country. Two things that escape our current rulers. Not that Nixon made good decisions, but he truly believed that the things he wanted would benefit the most people. Bushco doesn't care. They only care about results. And those results must include protecting the status quo.
