This is not necessarily the case....many considerations lead to plea deals.


I can't think of a single reason why a staffer would accept a guilty plea for a felony unless locked down guilty. This will destroy their careers..maybe their families. If innocent, why not fight? If the evidence is even open to interpretation, why not fight? Why accept destruction of all they have tried to build in their lives?

you and I both know the impact of a guilty plea.

What other factors might enter into the decision of these two staffers in Washington and the three associates in Teas?
