but those countries do not have radical islamic leaders calling for the destruction of other countries and the leaders of those countries do not have war plans based on radical views of religious teachings that call for the destruction of so called infidels.

Pakistan has radicals that are one bullet away from taking over the country and the nukes. They definitely have a large population of Islamics. While they have nukes, I'm thinking that they cannot deliver them from Pakistan. They would need to launch them from closer, or deliver them in a container.

China is a communist country. They hold nukes and the capability of delivering them. They are not religious nuts, but then they understand that delivering a nuke means the end of the world. They will use the economic weapon to beat us...and they are doing a heck of a job of it.

N Korea is run by a nut cake. Nothing more to add there. He's definitely stated that he will fire on the US if the US messes with him.

It's not religious nuts that we need to worry about. It's nuts period.

I think it is better to stop them now.

How do you propose we do that?

You said the reason for terrorism is:

Radical islamic teachings over many generations. IMO.

Sometimes to understand an onion you need to peel off more than one layer. Why did radical Islamic teaching become so popular? It really started at the time that Palestine had their territory confiscated for a new state of Israel.

Remember that the Saudi king at that time was assured that the US would not vote for giving Palestine to Israel. The king was suggesting that instead of the very best part of the middle east, why not give the Jews the very best part of Germany?

Radical teachings are the result of decades of taking land, genocide, economic hardship and war with Israel. Since the US has supported Israel in their quest, we too are considered part of the problem. The radical teachings say that Israel and the US are to be hated. But it is important to understand why there is hatred, don't you think? It's not like the Islamic people woke up one day and said we need to hate someone.

India has a Muslim President. And yet, he does not advocate violence to resolve problems. He has read radical Islamic teachings "if one exists." But since he is not a radical, it tells me that there is no radical Islam and Islam. There is only one Islam and it is not radical.
