DeLay was never a shrinking violet. And it usually worked, the other guy always blinked. Plus, he was working on the assumption that he or his people would always be in control.

He assumes that he controls the Texas state legislature now. It will be interesting to see if he is correct in that assumption.

Rumor mill says that DeLay's wife is soon to be indicted for stealing money from charities. That will deplete his lawyer fund even faster.
