Well, the download page for Boot Camp says that as soon as you install Windows on your Mac, you should immediately download iTunes for Windows and install that.

Not a problem. Mac OS X can read and sync to iPods that are formatted for use with Windows.

The problem is, do you sync to the Mac OS iTunes or the the Windows OS iTunes? There can be only one.
