Maybe Bush was a slacker, but at least he waited till he was president before he started stirring up trouble. <g>

Bush never became a pilot. In 1976 an eyewitness recalls GW trying to fly a Cessna plane and not even knowing how. He never attempted to fly again, though he did have some introductory training in training jets, but never solo.

GW Bush also did not serve. His last name got him in front of the line to the Air Guard. That unit would never have been called to Nam. Their job was to supposedly protect Texas from Mexico, but it also a place to protect rich kids from the war. He did some flight training, then quit as soon as he could get transfered to Alabama. He then disappeared for seven months, while at the same time skipping a mandatory drug test and being grounded. He never reported in Alabama.

The rumor is Bush was arrested for cocaine during this period, and it was swept under the rug by his family. The evidence there is that Bush was reported doing inner city public service in Houston for awhile, something he would ordinarily never do as he was an arrogant country club slacker playboy who thought he was born into royalty, and was.

A writer wrote about this decades later and the Bush family got his book "FORTUNATE SON" canned. Seven months later the writer was found dead of apparent suicide. But we also know Bush Sr. was head of the CIA and knew how to play rough.

Quit believing in bthe myths of GW Bush's military prowess. He has none. He is all talk and boasts, never any action. Compare to John Kerry a bona fide stellar war hero who could have easily skipped the war, but didn't. awolbush.com has many records proving the above.

WOW! It's obvious you get your "news" from the NYT.

It's not worth trying to disabuse you of your alternate, albeit, faulty version of reality.

One question though. Since Clinton was a draft dodger, he had no business being president then, right?

One more question. When did it become a requirement that our President had to be a genuine war hero with real battle experience to hold the office?
