yeah...

'for now'

but the larger point i am making is that as one of those employers who bears the brunt of 'cost shifting' in the form of premiums for my employees...

the idea of state sponsored health insurance sounds quite appealing at $250/month (per employee) currently about half of what i already pay

it is this 'hybrid' system of government subsidy for the 'poor' that causes the 'rich' employer to pay the difference...

well i'm sick of that ....

let the poor, beleaugered taxpayer subsidize the whole thing?

isn't that what they want?

why should my small corp take it on the chin by doing the 'right thing'

universal health care....

everyone seems to want it, but not pay for it....

who am i to be the shmuck that pays the bill
