Absolute power like the people gave Bush after 9-11 begat absolute corruption. How sad for our great nation. But remember, in our democracy Bush is powerless. Only the people have the power, and through congress (once the absolutely corrupt Delay congress is gone) has the power to take it all away. Just as Nixon, who won in 1972 by 20% and was gone two years later with GW Bush type approval ratings of 35%. This is how democracy works. When leaders fail or cheat, we take them out of power. So don't defend the corrupt ones.
