What we need are broad new ethics laws with teeth, and to retroactively convict all offenders of existing laws. The corruption in DC is something Boss Hogg or Boss TWeed would be proud of. Our government has been stolen from us by lobbyists, fat cat profiteers, gas gougers, Wall Street manipulators, jobs out-sourcers, polluters, war profiteers and greedy unethical congressmen and politicians. And Bush claimed in 2000 he was going to bring honesty and dignity back to DC. Ha! Clinton's team were saints compared to these Bushies. Another thing we need is broad election law reform. Starting with truth in advertising laws like they have for TV commercials. And making PAC's and smear campaigns transparent, showing us exactly who is behind them and what they stand for. Plus, every vote should count and every voting machine without a paper trail should be compacted. Diebold should be investigated thoroughly. It's very possible the last three elections were affected by Diebold voting machine type cheating. And we know Diebold's CEO promised to deliver Ohio for Bush in 2004.
