If you stopped over paying your housekeeper and paid a little more for good financial advice you'd have had a clue how one can build wealth without triggering income taxes. Didn't they cover any of that in B-school?

Read The Millionaire Next Door and maybe you'll start to understand how a person with such a pathetically low income can be rich while you make a pile of money and aren't.

But don't feel too bad, I have to over pay my house keeper as well. I keep telling her if she saved what she spent on the lottery every single day she wouldn't have to work so hard in her old age but like most Americans she doesn't see how a little money turns into a lot over time with a little compounding.
