Whoever wins the next few elections will be "another Jimmy Carter", because they will have to restore fiscal discipline. It's going to be a least a generation of "austerity" to make up for the current excess. If we get another drunken sailor, then the game is probably up... we won't recover.

Hell, it may be too late already.
