well Huckabee is definitely trying, he's term limited out. Perry hasn't mentioned it, but I'd say his chances of being "drafted" are better than Condi running...jmho

Allen is the best hope of the remaining Bush supporters. He could unite folks who put values number one. he says he is a "reagan republican" (but they all say that - nobody says they are a Bush republican), and a fiscal conservative. (cough). After the republican congress examples of fiscal discipline over the past few years any member who claims to be a fiscal conservative is going to have to somehow prove it. McCain has some bona fides in that area.

I think Allen has a little more grass roots support than might be realized. His senate battle could make or break him, for sure.
