Clinton took out Milosovic without a single US casualty. Milosovic was the Saddam of Europe. He was very dangerous and had more access to WMD than Saddam did. Bush took out Saddam and we are working on 20,000 US casualties now with no end in sight. Plus maybe 2 trillion dollars of debt-financing which will financially hamstring our country for decades.

Clinton may have been against the Vietnam War (rightly so) and (like Bush-Cheney-Delay-Frist) never served in the military, but he knew how to be smart and manage a war, with the help of the tremendous Wesley Clark, one of our greatest generals ever whom Bushies smeared as "no hero".

Apparently, the only "heros" Bushies have are draft-dodging corporate fat cat rich kids who talk tough but totally corrupt and mismanage everything they touch.

Yes, we're still there & it never gets mentioned, yet we're told Americans want us out of Iraq yesterday.

And don't forget Clinton didn't get UN or Congressional approval. It was unilateral.

There was no imminent threat cat calls from the MSM.

No Clinton lied - people died.

No 'we're just going to make more enemies' memes.

No war cooked up under the desk with "that woman" ;-)

No quagmire.

No 'no exit strategy'.

No relentless negative press - instead we got pro war coverage.

And we didn't get the slaughter of innocent civilians BS either.

Gee, I wonder why?

One of the reasons we are in the iraq mess and it is a mess. I know a new school just went up in basra. MSM MSM.

But seriously one reason might be that kosovo was too damn easy. We had one casualty who actually survived eating bugs and leaves and stuff. Remember Hackworth yelling about the body bags from serbia. Never happened. And thus, like in your favorite song New Yawk, New Yawk, "if we can do it there we can do it anywhere" became the mantra. Afganistan helped too. And then rummy says we can do it on the cheap--we will get flowers and then split quick after planting a new demo that will grow like the beanstalk in jack in the B.
