Now if nano gold and medical science can do something for me - perhaps I will re-evaluate it for different reasons. My oil investments cash flow, my consumer staple investments cash flow, my real estate invesments (currently) cash flow. My inflation protected investments cash flow. What I have in technology stocks aren't cash flowing so well right now - but I am betting the baby boomers will want all that healthcare/medical technology helping them to stay alive as they get older however. I also have some emerging market investments.screen.morningstar.com I watch this website every week - you can do it too - its so easy to see where the world likes to invest - I don't see any GLD on that chart - do you? :( I see "foreign", "water", "telecom", and "networking" - where is the GLD? As you fly to your "FOREIGN" destination, and drink some "WATER", then fire up your "TELECOM" cellphone to call coconut, and then post here over the "NETWORK" at what stage did you need GLD to use any of those other things you like and use and need? As the baby boomers retire and draw down thier bond, stock and mutual fund investments Jay - where do you expect them to spend thier wealth? Buying your gold? Buying a pill from the doctor? Buying a medical procedure? Buying a dinner at cheesecake factory? I bet gold is way down on thier list next to that other stuff. Why do you think it is number 1? Lets say it all goes BOOM and the baby boomers cant retire - still they will need to spend on many other things before shiny metal pieces. I see lots of retirees every day here in fl - and the local coin shops are going out of business - ebay put them down I think. The philster did say last week to buy newmont - but he is a chart technician - he did it for technical reasons - not because he is in love with shiny pretty things. :)
