Maybe I didn't state the Cramer rant properly, but I think his intended message was pretty much as you stated it. He did definitely say "24 carat" though. But the meaning of the rant as I understood it, was that the world demand for gold has changed and that new "investment" demand from China/India is an important factor. Nobody on this board would disagree with that, would they?

And I intend to look into his KRY recommendation. Cramer is right about lots of his statements, I think. And a person could probably make lots of money following his advice over time, providing a raging bull market for stocks continued just on and on. When I first heard him on his new show I thought that all he was doing was helping some of his insider buddies unload on the public "at the top" and there may be some of that. But some of his ideas are quite good.
