I bet your properties weren't worth more than perhaps a 12 GRM at the prior top. Now in CA most are now over 30 GRM..

First property I ever bought was a nice condo that bottomed at about a 6 GRM in 1992..

One thing seems to be a certainty. Rents continue to power higher as the years go by.. Perhaps the NAR will start using that line in the future<g>
