clappers- my compressor quit on me, so i took some pictures ... silverbeaver.net the first shot is of the wood shed. its still under construction as you can see. next is a picture of the back yard. i'm going to plant rose bushes along the back fence, but its on quite a slop and need to be terraced first. i want to use shale type rocks - its going to take a while. the vegetable beds will be surrounded by smooth beach rocks held in place by cedar - maybe drift wood. then is a picture of my neighbour's back yard. they moved up here the same year we bought the place - 1998, and their yard used to be as empty as ours. their son is a garden designer (like scoot) and works on it every time he visits. the last two pictures are of the shingling i was doing today up until the time my compressor quit, which is back to where i started from. :) aren't you sorry you asked?? <g> -hoser
