Criminal lawyers doing their job, trying to get exculpatory formation that doesn't have to undergo the rigors of passing muster under the laws of evidence in front of the potential jury pool to influence it.

Done all the time...see lots of tobacco and anti-tobacco ads, chances are a tobacco trial is cranking up in your neighborhood. Ditto electrocution cases and power company ads.

Yawn, been there done that.

This is a bit different in that a sitting President is accused. Ballsy, could backfire. We'll see.

If there is any truth to it, I think it would have come out earlier.

From a practical standpoint, how are they going to prove a Bush connection? I see some huge hearsay problems if there are no documents, which probably don't exist if Bush is responsible. No paper trail for this kind of stuff, no sir.
