Actually it isn't funny. I find that I'm getting closer to resigning myself to the fact that I'm powerless to really make a difference. I see my representatives wimping out on important issues. I see the same frustration here in SI and in the people I talk to. I've been politically active on a local level for years. I'll never forget being told that eventually they will wear me down. I wish it weren't so, and no, I won't stop voting, but right now I can't think of a truer statement.
