High gas prices are only "great" if a big part of that price is going to incentive tax rebates for those who buy clean fuel<< you've just made my point. gov't won't give incentives, let the market give incentives like "holy shit it costs $50.00 EVERYTIME I fill up the tank!" that will be incentive enough if it's painful long enough. stop blaming the gov't for all your problems. you have to make hay when the sunshines, the longer the pain the quicker the gain.
