As silver hit $50 in early 1980, the $200 mantra went out from people like Jerome Smith and others. Smith said $200 silver definitely by 1986. A few said silver would drop to $3, and they were very close to being right..... But I remember what Louis Carabini of Monex was saying at the time. "Over the next several years some say we will see 200 silver and some say 3 silver. But I'm of the opinion that maybe both will come true"......
