Tim, Perhaps you've been away. I've been through this issue with many on this thread. My criticism of WAPO (that's where this started) was their and the rest of the media's unwillingness to use the word terrorist. This is prevalent in the vast majority of their articles and editorials about Iraq.

Especially, where the news is reporting slaughter and severe violence on fellow humans.

I inserted the words freedom fighter in my brief comment about their article. I did this as a comparison or contrast to the WAPO who had used insurgent as their descriptor. It is my opinion that the media continues to fail in properly describing who is committing such violence in Iraq.

The news article reported that a teacher was beheaded in his classroom. This was a terrorist act committed by terrorists. Yet, WAPO could not bring themselves to call these animals terrorists.

Before finishing this post, be assured I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else. I'm merely expressing a view about the entire media. They are liberal, biased and trapped in the a self made bubble of political correctness when reporting the news. Some news sources are worse than others.
