It's the only 'good' that most people see any longer. It's the only 'achievement' that people can see. It's pathetic and it's costing us our fiscal stability. How many mortgages are going to go belly up? How many people are in debt to their eyeballs? The healthcare system, the educational system, the legal system, the political system are all imploding due to cost. Where are all of these costs coming from? From the pursuit of money, for the love of money. It's insane. We are in such trouble.
