They'll circle the wagons when it comes down to it... Here is the "VENT" from the AJC...Pretty funny! Come on, DeKalb! Get it off your chest. Join our new online Vent. We want to hear about your take on life in DeKalb County. What irks you? What funny things have you seen? Cynthia lives in a world in which “there should be no physical contact.” Boy, you can tell she’s never ridden MARTA! OK, Ms. McKinney, now you say you are sorry after you figure out you could be charged. This just makes me want to vote this next election for whoever runs against you. Where exactly is “Irag?” Learn to spell! Guess that Grand Jury scared Cynthia. Felony cases, not misdemeanors, are sent to Grand Juries. Felons cannot hold office, nor can they vote. Finally, the loose cannon may be tamed! Ms. McKinney has a lot spunk, which I sort of admire. But like her gun-toting daddy, she seems to have a hair trigger temper and a self-righteous attitude. What really disturbs me is how so many of her other constituents quickly leap to her defense. Reminds me of Republicans mindlessly leaping to W’s defense whenever his actions are questioned. Cynthia Tucker wrote a great column about Mckinney. All of you defending Mckinney and her actions should take a read. Did anybody notice that C. Mckinney didn’t apologize, just said that “..she was sorry that it happened and it was escalated…” She never said SHE was sorry.. McKinney and her thug bodyguard should be locked up. I’ve voted for Cynthia five times. I agree with just about all of her votes in Congress and a lot of what she says. I think she’s an embarrassment and needs to go. The man C McKinney hit is pressing charges; the man VP Cheney shot didn’t. That’s why he got off with an apology. McKinney is an embarrassment to ALL Georgians…black, white, yellow, or red! Anyone that votes for her is an imbecile. Please pray for Dekalb!! Because this county have to many problem. ajc.com
