Jon,

You are probably absolutely correct about commodity prices back in the '70s when inflation was very high and the inflation adjusted price of gas was even higher than it is now. Back then gold hit $800 an ounce if I remember correctly. I think Margin Mike was referring to comments he made in 2002 about future commodity prices going higher. All I am saying is that he was correct.
