You might be right about that. But you and I have no way to know who made what decision. Rumsfeld could be the problem, or it could be his top advisors, or his superiors in the WH or at the NSC. We don't know.

But we do know he has become a political liability for the administration, just like Ashcroft was, and that it is time to go.
