Maybe people on the left realize that some people are incapable of ever being disabused. It would be nice if people on the right could learn that as well- it would make the SI boards less boring. People going over and over the same old ground trying to "disabuse" true believers, whether they are left or right, isn't very interesting. IMO, of course.

It bolsters their case that the devil(s) currently rules the US. But that demonization is no more strange to me than the rabid attacks on MSM made by KLP and WSTR and the inability for these same folks to have any realistic view on the current iraq situation at all. We come at from different sides V but we both know what our own eyes tells us about iraq. Brainwashing/koolaid drinking--whatever one wants to call it is what it has to be at this point. These folks back when the helicopter were pulling out of saigon would be shouting "where are you going, we are winning." Now back to AS--koolaid has many colors and brainwashing is what clifford is trying to do with his posts..
