Why do the clowns at the controls never talk about this. That is the biggest risk of all today...

Kudlow did say he was upset with the spending of his so called "conservative" friends and to vote blue if they will make the required cuts.

Pork-barrel spending rises, watchdog group says

Obviously the current clowns in office don't have the political will to make the required cuts and now ron paul says they all want to increase the bills some more with an iran war. China and friends need to stop taking our debt eh? That would help stop some things pretty quickly.

We can afford it right? $3B a day shortfall I guess is a given for all since so many folks that vote today just continue to live beyond their means too using their credit card and HELOC to fund the gap.

The General and others have said democracies all fail over time because the debtors just vote money out of the coffers until that gubbment goes insolvent. The founding fathers were smart guys - but obviously we need to look at how to better align governments with fiscal concerns - history seems to prove the chens of the world right. If we don't want successivly collapsing governments for time immortal - we need a fundamental change. I think more representation and more decentralized government the key. As more people were added to society - we didn't add enough new gubbment representatives to represent them - each successive birth kept diluting the others ties to thier representative. Andrew king, kessler, many others have talked about how we need to reshape our government and federal bodies - looks like it is going to take a lot of gnashing of teeth and suffering before we do what needs to be done - hehe. You have others still that say less gubbment - not more representation - hehe.
