Ahhh, just came in off of mower. Nice surprise. Here's some thing that
might be fun, especially while enjoying a pint or two:
Discovered in 1971, NGF lies mainly offshore to the north east of the Qatar Peninsula under water depths ranging between 15 and 70 meters and covers an area of some 6000 square kilometers. It is the world's largest concentration of natural gas with total reserves of more than 900 trillion cubic feet, representing 20% of the world's gas reserves, which makes Qatar the third largest country with the biggest natural gas reserves after the Federal Republic of Russia and Iran.
FO has just under 1,000kms, which is 1/6th the size of the Qatar NGF (which I think is nice, gggg). If, however, the Company is right and
we have 250 plus TCF, which is around 28% of Qatar's NGF on 16% of
of the total amount of land, we, in fact, have a much higher concentration of gas (which would be nice). And, this should only be
contemplated after the 4th brewski... if Qatar has 20% of the world's
gas and we have 28% as much as Qatar has, hmmmmmmmmmmm, it would seem
to suggest that we, in fact have around 3 1/2% of the world's gas.
I dunno, but that sure seems to be worth something more than $2.80.
OTOH, maybe we have 10% of the world's CO2, which, if nothing else,
should scare the crap out of Perrier, lol.
Anyway, fun back of the envelop calculations for those that are
commencing to have their daily ration of the King's Nectar.
Adios,
RC
