Attacking the messengers of truth with lies isn't going to work for the rightwing anymore. Those days are long gone. People are sick of Hannity types railing against our best newspapers nd whoever else nails them. Years ago, some boobus got the idea that I am a pornographer named Clifford so whenever they lose a debate with me they keep repeating that. No rationale behind it except that they don't like me clubbing them over the head with the truth time after time. And even if I were in the porno business (which I am totally not) I'd still be right. When Bush first claimed he was going to get to the bottom of the Plame leak case I wrote that it was probably Bush himself who authorized it. Or at least that he knew damn well who leaked. Turned out to be right. Just assume the worst about top Bushies and you're usually proven right.
