The problem I have with Coulter is that she really lacks substance. She's Jon Stewart without the self deprecation.

I can see what you mean with Clinton. I think any politician has a dark side. Democrats tend to see the light side of Clinton, and Republicans the dark side. Same with JFK, whom many idolize (I personally never understood their fascination, he was ok but definitely a silver spooner and had a very dark side).

I don't know if a political party can have a soul. It can have core values. If anything, these core values have shifted more lately in the Republican party than in the Democrat party. So, if a party has really lost its 'soul' lately, I'd have to say it was the GOP. But, eye of the beholder, I guess.

<<Most of her points are valid, but she is a bit sharp.>>

The cutting edge of political commentary today is all conservative. It's an indication of an emerging movement replacing an over-aged and declining one.

<<He's a bit obnoxious at times.>>

I don't include Hannity in the "cutting edge" category anymore. I think he views himself as playing a part. I have long looked at Hannity as a guy who could wake up liberal one morning, and barely realize it-like nothing happened...
