Krauthammer explicitely rejected the notion of employers policing

I find him to be much more logical and smarter than many of the talking heads and columnists, but disagree on his point about the duty of an employer. They have an important role to play and it is time they do so. I believe the main reason they avoid this is because it will affect their bottom line. And the current ID process sucks!

A bullet proof ID is the easy part. Getting people to enforce the rules is the hard part. Shouldn't be.

I wish Krauthammer would have discussed the worn out cliche, "they just come to do the work that Americans won't do". I'm not sure if anyone in the DC bubble has ever contradicted that view. Certainly has been expressed often enough by a wide variety of politicians.
