Herb "Most, I say most PC gamers are running consumer level, bundle boxes with only minor upgrades."

Talk to many gamers lately? They have no limits when it comes to their computers and what they are willing to spend on them.

Firstly: At this point in time, Boot Camp is only going to be interesting to people who are either Mac users or wanna-be Mac users and can't. If someone is not a Mac user and never had the desire to be a Mac user, it is just a big yawn.

I'm taking this a little out of context, so read the original post to get a full sense of the original point. Still, I wanted to say that I completely disagree with the last statement. Forget Mac users for a moment, and focus on Wintel users alone. Wintel users for the most part, never bought Macs. When they shopped, they could choose from HP, Dell, IBM/Lenovo, Gateway, and various other brands. Now, when the Wintel user is shopping, they can add Apple to that list. Given these choices, some will choose Apple. It may be a small fraction, or it may be bigger than most think. That will remain to be seen. I think Apple will quickly rise to the top 10 Wintel sellers list and with good support from Apple, they'll make it to the top 5 in a couple of years. Are HP/Dell/Lenovo/Gateway 4 of the top 5? Who else is in the top 5, Fujitsu/NEC/Sony? Don't be surprised if Apple among these in Windows systems alone, counting OSX systems separately. Remember, they're essentially coming from 0.
