In a sense. They've been manipulated and lied to for 5+ years. To find out that he was in the loop during Plamegate, despite his denials and tough talk, shouldn't be any great surprise. Nor, when it comes out that they've been doing warrentless spying on domestic to domestic calls. Because you know they are doing that... As someone who has detested his policies from the start, I frankly am shocked at his duplicity. I guess some remote part of my psyche had been deceived too. As a supporter I'd be crushed...the extent of deceipt is shocking, the public record mounting, the consequences far beyond a tawdry scandal. How can you be shocked? Seriously. You've know the MO of this administration. Its been clear from the get go. As for bush, its fits his background perfectly. He was the spoiled scion of an influential politician with questionable ties to the business community. He has surrounded himself with crooks. He has pulled every trick in the book, both honest and dishonest, to get elected. Hell, the USSC justice that got him elected just told a reporter: Vada a Napoli!......in a church no less. These people are not nice people......and definitely not honest. Merda, dubya was never an outstanding student.......an outstanding person. He supported Delay right to the end. He flew into DC from his ranch to help draft special legislation to keep Schiavo on life support. He started a war on false premises. He failed to file SEC documents with regards to his oil drilling debacle. He has screwed up every long time ally relationship we have had while pushing questionable relationships at the same time. He has screwed up every venture he has ever undertaken including the governorship of TX and not the presidency. That you are surprised surprises me. Why do you think I and JF and I think CJ want him impeached? This is no time for naiveté.
