I think that's one of the reasons we have the caliber of people in some of the political offices....what else could they do? Many are lawyers....How many lawyers ever take courses in business? But, what do most lawyers do...? They usually are in business for themselves. The lawyers who become politicians must think they are immune to having to deal with such basic things like math, because they are paid by the government and don't have to worry about such mundane things like meeting payroll, or paying premiums for employees.... THe other amazing thing to me is that they hadn't any commitment from any of the insurance companies about costs of policies BEFORE the law was enacted..... What do these people use for brains?
