Bush leak put political gain ahead of national security

Yes, I think most perceptive people are seeing it that way. No other plausible explanation, really. That, coupled with his former reputation for national security and his declarations about leaks really dinks him - yet again.

PartyTime (and I'm sure others) have made the astute point that one reason they leaked a portion was to extract the portion of the report that supported their argument while conveniently leaving out the counterpoints. Typical Rove stuff; I won't be surprised if his fingerprints were on this one, too.
