In Germany they paid each Turk, who would consider going back to Turkey a fairly generous amount of relocation funds.
Quite a few did rather than facing unemployment in jobless Germany.

Generally, IMO as long as the perception of the differences between the standard of living between Mexico and the US is that enormous, we are on a losing track trying to curtail illegal immigration.
Long term we need to invest a lot more money and effort to help Mexico to make it more attractive to their citizens to stay down there and produce as much wealth locally as they are right now sending back from the US.

Being realistic, any dam can only hold that much water until it bursts. In this case the water seems to be rising faster than we can add to the height of any dams.

So it's too late, we are held hostage by illegals? And Politicians expect to be re-elected in the face of this! Ha!

I don't think they would riot...just slowly trickle back over the border when they couldn't find work.

The only people objecting to these marches are the extreme right. Most people are afraid to say anything for fear of being called a racist. Other people don't understand the magnitude of the problem because they don't live in those parts of the country where there is a large illegal population. Still others don't understand the danger of having a large population living in the country who have no loyalty to that country. And finally, we have a Congress that is weak and unable to act.

So yes, we are held hostage to illegals. They are better organized and more assertive than the 280 million American citizens in this country. I think it may speak volumes.
